a leading developer of integrated network
security and access products, today announced
a reseller agreement with AmeriNet. The
agreement allows AmeriNet to sell, install,
and service Encore's complete line of
IP over frame products, legacy protocol
data routers, broadband Virtual Private
Network (VPN) security products, and
signaling protocol converters.
AmeriNet was started in 1989 to provide
digital communications equipment, total
systems integration, and networking services
to the enterprise business market. Originally
founded in Ann Arbor to provide solutions
for Southeastern Michigan, AmeriNet has
grown to nine regional offices and is
widely recognized as a leading nationwide
technology provider. Today, AmeriNet's
core competencies include not only nationwide
carrier services but also professional
services including Network Design, Performance
Monitoring, and Bandwidth Optimization.
In addition to Encore's product line,
AmeriNet sells a wide range of products
from networking vendors Cisco, Adtran,
Extreme, and Packeteer.

AmeriNet has already sold Encore's SignalPath
201™ (SP201), an advanced signaling protocol
converter ideally suited for private
PBX networks. The SP201 supports multi-national
signaling protocols, as well as custom
international variants and rate conversion.
