announced the appointment of Jack Stoddard
as Vice President of North American Sales.
Mr. Stoddard, formerly with Mitel Networks,
brings more than 20 years of diverse
telecommunications industry and sales
management experience to the Encore team.
“I am looking to Jack to forge new and
strengthen existing relationships with
service providers and reseller channels
which are instrumental to our success
in the VPN security market,” stated Peter
Madsen, Encore’s President and Chief
Executive Officer. “His extensive experience
and technical expertise will focus the
efforts of our sales team on clearly
defined strategies for providing secure,
end-to-end satellite and terrestrial
broadband solutions. Also, through Jack’s
many industry contacts we will be better
able to provide our carrier customers,
who use Signaling Gateways as an essential
link in their networks, with more revenue
generating opportunities.”
Prior to his appointment at Encore,
Stoddard was Vice President of Regional
Sales at Mitel Networks. He also held
several key management positions within
Mitel including North American Director
of Channel Development and North American
Director of Public Switching Sales. He
was recognized as Mitel’s Number One
North American Performer and received
the Mitel Corporate Innovation Award.
Mr. Stoddard’s regional responsibilities
will include Canada and the eastern half
of the United States.
