today announced the appointment of industry
veteran, Scott Burk as Northern Regional
Director of Sales. Mr. Burk, who most
recently headed the Strategic Sales and
Business Development activities of Purcell
Systems into the Federal Government and
DoD, brings more than 25 years of diverse
sales, business development and technical
expertise. Scott's responsibilities will
include directing Encore's efforts into
the Federal Government, DoD, and continued
penetration into the utility market with
Encore's BANDITâ„¢ line of industrially
hardened (rugged) cyber security routers.

expertise and business development experience

Prior to joining Encore Networks, Scott
held various positions in sales, engineering,
and marketing at Vinci Systems, Convergent
Networks, Tellabs, Siemens, Newbridge
Networks and Timplex.
