The successful candidate will be responsible
for the business development and selling
activities of a leading developer of ruggedized
IP + legacy routers to the utility and
transportation industry.
Qualifications:
The winning candidate must be a
self starter with strong skills in prospecting
and opening new accounts. The individual
will posse a demonstrated knowledge of
the Utility industry, including previous
sales experience selling hardware and
software solutions; as well as knowledge
of cellular connectivity, SCADA protocols,
and current NERC mandates for security
and encryption compliance. The candidate
must possess a strong business and technical
knowledge with complimentary skills to
understand the customer’s business
drivers as they align to the Encore solutions.
Other qualifications are as
follows:
• 10+ years of successful experience
in utility industry sales
• Solution selling and business case
development skills
• An in depth knowledge of IP + Legacy
and SCADA
• Desire to work independently and to
meet business targets
• Communicate requirements to product
management and engineering teams
• Ability to sell complex products in
a fast paced environment
• Must be an aggressive self-starter
with deal closing capabilities
