Designed as a cost-effective variant of Encore’s SignalPath™ -201 product line, the SP-201-Z is an advanced signaling gateway that facilitates out-of-band interoperability between incompatible voice networks, as well as providing interworking capabilities between legacy TDM voice networks and next generation VoIP networks. The SP-201-Z is an extremely affordable solution for PTTs, LD Carriers, VoIP ISPs, and softswitch vendors who want to address their customers' signaling interworking requirements, while expanding into new international markets.

The SP201-Z features a compact 1U platform with a capacity of up to four E1 or T1 trunks and up to 120 DSOs per chassis. The SP-201-Z supports the ANSI SS7, ITU C7, and ISDN protocols, providing both domestic and international carriers with the ability to interwork with different voice switches, VoIP gateways, and softswitch platforms.
