September 29, 2005 – Encore Networks, a leading developer of Virtual Private Network (VPN) security solutions and satellite communications Value Added Reseller, Orbital Data Net have teamed to provide secure satellite broadband communications to the Parks Division of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Orbital has deployed Encore’s VPN router, the VSR-30™, as a VSAT solution in locations throughout Missouri State Parks where secure broadband access has previously been unavailable.

Encore’s VSR-30™, with patent pending Selective Layer Encryption (SLE), enables satellite users, running encrypted applications over IP, to realize the benefits of broadband communications without the significant performance degradation that is typically associated with using IPsec on hybrid satellite-terrestrial circuits.
