Encore Networks today announced that SYNNEX has added the Encore Networks family of commercial grade and industrial hardened broadband LTE routers to their GSA contract #GS-35F-0143R. This allows federal, state and local governments to purchase Encore products through a streamlined process of pre-negotiated prices reducing costs and saving government procurers time.

Land Mobile Radio (LMR) for the Federal Government
Traditional copper lines connecting a base station to a transmitter are either deteriorating or worse are completely down and unserviceable, preventing mission-critical communications to federal agents in the field. Emergency broadcasting and federal aviation systems also use similar radio copper lines. Encore LTE routers provide a traditional copper line interface at both ends of the circuit to legacy radio equipment for direct connections. Analog tones and voice are converted to IP and sent wirelessly over an LTE connection. Re-establishing services in a matter of days versus weeks or even months in some regions.
Video surveillance has become key with the federal government, municipalities and public safety. Using an Encore router, video surveillance is easy to install in both fixed and temporary sites, supporting both powered and non-powered sites, using solar for turn-key video solutions. Mr. Burk continued, “With embedded PoE ports on our routers our electric municipality customers are able to use multiple camera manufacturers and with LTE or hardwire Ethernet WAN connections to simplify their installation, installing them in less than a day.”
