EN-2000™, BANDIT-2™, and BANDIT-3™ Upgrade Program Technical Bulletin

There is an immediate need to upgrade Encore EN-2000™BANDIT-2™, and BANDIT-3™ routers with embedded Quanta modules.

Affected EN-2000s, Bandit-2s and Bandit-3s with Quanta modules can be easily identified by the first 8 digits of their IMEI number beginning with 35963604 or 35969205

The EN-2000s, Bandit-2s and Bandit-3s will be upgraded with a Sequans Verizon LTE Cat 4 embedded module. These modules are Verizon Motive Firmware Over the Air (FOTA) certified. Units will be reworked, tested, relabeled with a new Sequans IMEI number and shipped within five working days of receipt at the Encore factory.

Resellers or their end users should back up the router’s database. Encore does not warrant the specific data of a returned router.

The reseller will issue a Purchase Order to Encore for the number of units they would like to ship to Encore for upgrading. This Purchase Order must be submitted and accepted by Encore before any upgrade can occur.

The Encore Service department will issue an RMA. In advance of issuing the RMA, the reseller will provide a list of the IMEI numbers.

Units are to be returned, freight prepaid to:
